I purchased a new laptop at the end of last year. I have was also given a free copy of BitDefender Internet Security 2010. I've been using the free 2 month trial of Norton Internet Security and that is about to expire in 2 days.

I went to install BitDefender, but when I was went to register it, part of the serial number inside the case was faded. What can I do?

Contact BitDefender support. That's the only thing you can do.

Can I not take it back to the place where I purchased it and get a replacement?
