Malware Bytes not installing correctly. Please Help

I'm trying to get rid of a trojan on my computer which I'm sure you are very familiar with, "Virtumonde" this is the second time I have had this virus on my computer. First time downloaded malware bytes no problem and it took care of the problem now I am was not able to load it up again and so I uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall an from several different web sites I get the same thing.

There is an error that comes up saying that it cannot download the file error code 2. Would you reccomend going into safemode and then trying it maybe. I have been trying to get Malware Bytes to work but getting frustrated so dont know what to do at this point. Can you shed some light maybe.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

• Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  
• Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  
• It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  
• You may need to use two posts to get it all.
