i have a dell latitude c400 and in bios it says hard drive disabled and wont boot up i have no cd drive to format it can any one help me please asap its doin my head in now.

sounds like you HDD crashed you need to get a USB cd rom drive and and new HDD, you can configure a thumdrive to boot with windows install on it
