Well i have the restoration disc. :/

Oh, the repair disc. When you place it in the drive, can you boot to setup?

If so, there should be an option called R (Repair). We will need to use that option.

It was the supplemental recovery disc and booted up when the computer was restarted but after I went through the whole process it still doesn't do anything. It keeps going to a black screen.
