Hi. One of the computers in my house isn't able to get online. All the computers are running Vista, 2 are connected with LAN cables, two wireless. One of the wireless ones is the problem. Earlier, network and sharing center was showing that it was connected to (Private Network), and was connected to the internet, but I couldn't browse or use MSN etc.
I tried running cmd and typing 'netsh int ip reset reset.log' and 'netsh winsock reset'
Now it says it's saying connected to Unidentified Network (Public Network) and the connection is local only. Signal strength is excellent. I can't easily plug a LAN cable into it to see if it works that way, because it's a desktop and the router is on the floor above it.
Also, I tried resetting the modem and router by unplugging/plugging back in.
