Hello ! Thanks for all the warm welcomes I received as a new user here.

Having trouble with the following. I have AVAST 4.8, I have been getting "Malware Found" screen when I go into my "Pictures" and I cannot get this warning screen to go away. It makes a sound like a Police Car is chasing me, it is rather annoying , LOL !

One file in "PICTURES" that I have created has over 400 pics from my digital camera, AVAST is saying "MALWARE FOUND" when I access that file.

I can't imagine why pictures from my digital camera are infected.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks ! fatalxsunrider43

The alert happens when you go into your pictures folder?

Sounds a lot like this if you ask me, read the thread over, it will make it a lot easier to understand.
