My adapter is connected but i cant use the internet.

I have windows xp and I've been using an adapter for a year or so, but ti randomly stopped working.

It is a westell adapter i got from verizon.

It says it is connected with a good-very good signal but it still wont let me browse the internet.

WHat is the problem with it??

Also I tried another adapter from my other computer and it works, but it doesn't hold the connection. I can get to google and maybe search one website and then it will freeze up.
