Antivirus System Pro and Bankerfox.a

Antivirus System Pro and Bankerfox.a has taken over my computer and will not allow me to open ANYTHING or ANY program. Whether it be IE, FIREFOX or Chrome or anything from the 'Start' Menu.

It is demanding I pay $69 or stay 'locked' and 'unprotected'.

It also is attempting to display Porn.com sites and Viagra Ad sites.

I unplugged it from the internet.

Please help. Your help is greatly appreciated.

...Forget to say I'm using another computer to post this stuff.

When running "TaskManager" the virus blocks you from running it.

I think I'll need a fix from 'Safe Mode'.

Please download exeHelper from one of the two links.

• Double-click on exeHelper.com or exeHelper.scr to run the fix.
  
• A black window should pop up, press any key to close once the fix is completed.
  
• Post the contents of log.txt (Will be created in the directory where you ran exeHelper.com)
  

Note: If the window shows a message that says "Error deleting file", please re-run the program before posting a log - and post the two logs together (they will both be in the one file).

It blocks exeHelper.com from running.

The 'black' window pops up then it closes very quickly and the virus says: 'Application Cannot be executed. The file exehelper.scr is infected. Do you want to activate your antivirus software now?' If you say "Yes"
it forwards you to pay $69 to their website: sysguard2010.com

I'm in the same boat as you. Just got this virus two days ago. I thought I had it off my computer using a program that was suggested on here to scan the computer... but even though I'm no longer getting pops or warnings, now I cannot access the internet at all. Hope they can help.

Crazy. One thing that does help is that I set up 'guest' accounts. They seem
to be 'not' infected.

So I can use those (luckily) to start transferring important files out of the computer.

On my other computer I will set up a 'user' account with full admin access just in case I get the virus on there.

Okay, let me know how that goes, but we can still try removing it if your thinking of formatting....
