But, it doesn't mean anything to me.

I'm sure there is a matter of hitting a button somewhere, but I'm missing it. I've tried a number of things I've found on boards, but nothing is playing nice.

Anyone have a magic answer for me? And keep it simple, please....I'm not a rocket scientist when it comes to computers.... Smile...

Thanks! Smile...

Hello,

Please be more specific. What won't let you see anything?

I'm soo sorry.

I am on a wireless connection (well, not now, there's a cable in at the moment).

When I go to either Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox it says it won't show the page and gives me a diagnose this connection button....(not in Firefox - just won't work).

But, when I go to the wireless network, it says I'm connected.

Smile... Thanks for trying to help....

Hello,

Open CMD, Reset WINSOCK entries to installation defaults by typing: netsh winsock reset catalog

Reset TCP/IP stack to installation defaults by typing: netsh int ip reset reset.log

Restart your PC.

If it doesn't work, download Winsock XP Fix from here, save it to your Desktop.
http://www.snapfiles.com/get/winsockxpfix.html

Double click on the exe on your Desktop.
Press the "Fix" button, then restart again.

See if you can connect now.

I did the first step - no change.

Downloaded the next bit. No change.

Restarted both times.

Should I throw it in the pond? Smile...

Hello,

Please ensure that your router connection settings are correct. You can either log into the router to check or reset it to it's default, where it should work.
