The official version of BlackBerry Messenger 5 will drop tomorrow for Verizon Wireless customers. CrackBerry reported this yesterday and we can 100% confirm it. Our information was specific to Verizon Wireless but we’d imagine it’s a BlackBerry-wide release. All BlackBerry handsets running OS 4.5 or above will be eligible for the upgrade, too. Most of you are probably running leaked builds already, but the launch of the official version means that your not-so-cool friends will have it as well.
