Laptop Amilo pi 1505 //Reformatting HELL!!!

Currently im running xp pro sp2 but everytime I try to format with any version of windows it notifies me that there are no hard drives connected to the pc and continues to shut down!!!
WTF do I do now???

Nvm listen guys when you have a problem like this its the SATA roaming option thingy for a laptops' BIOS or your CD / DVD is FAULTY ...

keeping in mind this is after checking if your hard drive is connected properly and working or else the drive may have crashed , burnt out ETC...>>> :Clapping:
