packed.monder

Hello,
Sorry for this newbie post, but my sister ran AVG and found the packed.monder trojan on her Windows XP pc. It has disabled IE, Firefox, and Safari. So, she has no way to get online and post herself to ask for help. She also has no way to download any other diagnosis tools or fixes. Does anyone know of a way to help her without her being able to download anything? I am too far away to do anything other than relay more expert advice.

Okay, you'll need to transfer the tools across from that.

Please download the current version of HijackThis from HERE

• Double click and run the installer.
  
• It will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\hijackthis.exe
  
• After installing, you should get the user agreement, press accept and Hijack This will run.
  
• Select Do a system scan and save a log file. This will open a notepad file of everything Hijack This found, copy and paste it back here.
