Now open a new notepad file.
Input this into the notepad file:

Folder::
c:\program files\Viewpoint

Registry::
[HKLM\~\services\sharedaccess\parameters\firewallpolicy\standardprofile\AuthorizedApplications\List]
"c:\\Program Files\\LimeWire\\LimeWire.exe"=-

Driver::
Viewpoint Manager Service
blsxphegukqby
haucmwhr
jcwtxwndic
qlntmxeul
xsuovw

Save this as CFScript.txt, save it to your desktop also.
Then drag and drop CFScript.txt into combofix as seen below:
removing winbluesoft - Page 1 Sfxdaw

This will open combofix again, agree to it's terms and allow it to run.
It may want to reboot after it's done. (It will warn you if it wants to)
Post the resulting log back here.

well before I ran ComboFix /u , in normal mode AVG kept finding infections from time to time. I kept on putting them in the vault and then deleting them. Some of the files said they could not be deleted.

I don't see any infection, when you boot in normal mode please do the following:

  • Please download DDS by sUBs to your Desktop (Important!!) from one of these locations:
    Link 1
    Link 2
  • Double click DDS.scr to run.
  • When complete, two logs will open. Save both of the report to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste DDS.txt back here, I don't need to see attach.txt.

Please use the Internet Explorer browser, and do an online scan with Kaspersky Online Scanner

Note: If you have used this particular scanner before, you MAY HAVE TO UNINSTALL the program through Add/Remove Programs before downloading the new ActiveX component

Click Accept, when prompted to download and install the program files and database of malware definitions.

  • Click Run at the Security prompt.
  • The program will then begin downloading and installing and will also update the database.
  • Please be patient as this can take several minutes.
  • Once the update is complete, click on My Computer under the green Scan bar to the left to start the scan.
  • Once the scan is complete, it will display if your system has been infected. It does not provide an option to clean/disinfect. We only require a report from it.
  • Do NOT be alarmed by what you see in the report. Many of the finds have likely been quarantined.
  • Click View scan report at the bottom.
  • Click the Save as Text button to save the file to your desktop so that you may post it in your next reply.

    **Note**

    To optimize scanning time and produce a more sensible report for review:

  • Close any open programs.
  • Turn off the real-time scanner of all antivirus or antispyware programs while performing the online scan.

Note for Internet Explorer 7 users: If at any time you have trouble viewing the accept button of the license, click on the Zoom tool located at the bottom right of the IE window and set the zoom to 75%. Once the license is accepted, reset to 100%.

I tried to download the scanner and it failed. Its probably due to the AVG being on. Also, from the last time I sent you a message saying that there were threats coming up periodically, I currently have had my computer on for 24 hours and nothing has popped up. So for now, I am not worried about the scanner. Thanks a lot for your very useful help to save my computer. If there is any other problems I will be sure to use you guys again or if more threats come up I will turn off AVG and try the scanner. ONc again THANKS!

I would recommend you install a Firewall with HIPS:

Please, consider maintaining a firewall with HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention Systems). Firewalls are extremely important and are the first part of your computer's defense. HIPS stops malware by monitoring its behavior and it's very important, too.
A firewall is a software program or piece of hardware that helps screen out hackers, viruses, and worms that try to reach your computer over the Internet.
If you are using the Windows Firewall please note that it doesn't monitor or block outbound traffic and is therefore less effective than other free alternatives.

These firewalls are good and do have free versions available A tutorial on understanding and using firewalls may be found here.

**Note If you are running an internet security suite with a personal firewall this is not recommended as they could cause huge problems and conflict with each other.

Hello.
Just temporarily uninstall outpost and see if it makes any difference.
Some firewalls do cause drag downs. Smile...
