1. If you are using Firefox, make sure that your download settings are as follows:

* Tools->Options->Main tab
* Set to "Always ask me where to Save the files".

2. During the download, rename Combofix to Combo-Fix as follows:





3. It is important you rename Combofix during the download, but not after.
4. Please do not rename Combofix to other names, but only to the one indicated.
5. Close any open browsers.
6. We need to disable your local AV (Anti-virus) before running Combofix.

• See HERE for how to disable your AV.
  
• Double click on ComboFix.exe.
  
• Follow the prompts. NOTE:
  
• Allow combofix to run
  
• Post C:\combofix.txt back here.
  
  Note:
  Do not mouse click combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall.
  

by the way am i deleting all of these tools after we use them?

Yes but I would keep HijackThis and Malwarebytes

Now please run ComboFix.

Now open a new notepad file.
Input this into the notepad file:

Save this as CFScript.txt, save it to your desktop also.
Then drag and drop CFScript.txt into combofix as seen below:


This will open combofix again, agree to it's terms and allow it to run.
It may want to reboot after it's done. (It will warn you if it wants to)

I wouldn't recommend using any torrent clients as they bring you most of the malware that causes your computer to slow down.

ok this might be stupid but also virus related before the virus i was able to see the emotocons when selecting them on my yahoo instant messanger now i cannot , they are there i can use them but just not visible i have tried redownloading , didnt work , i have went to settings and preferences and that didnt work either any suggestions ???? and i am updating my system as recomended by orion thank you

and also i just did an avg scan and there is still one rootkit left on the system can i use malewarebyte to fill and get rid of it ?

yes im doing all of the reading that goes along with the recomendations u have given me the only problem now that i didnt have prior to the win cryptor 32 virus is the fact that my messanger wont show the emotocons when i go to select them , they are there they just do not show i have tried everything not sure what to do about this its bugging me out i knw its a minute issue but thats the only thing left
