network and safe mode

I have an emachines c3060 that is highly infected. I know I can fix it but the issue is I cannot get networking to work when I boot into safe mode w/networking. Its an nvidia setup and the network card shows in regular startup but when I boot into safe mode the network card dissapears. This is the first computer I have seen this happen too. Please let me know if you have any ideas or if you know a fix. I did reinstall drivers and updates so that is not the issue.

Start >> run >> type in devmgmt.msc >> Under Display Adapters, right click your video card and select uninstall. Download the latest version from the Nvidia website and install it again.

nope still dosnt work. When I go into safe mode with networking the network card dosnt even show up in the device manager. All it has is nvidia network bus enumerator. This is very frustrating as Ive never seen this issue before.

So it works in normal mode? But you want it to appear in safe mode?
