I have been getting the error message:
Error number: 0x80040707 Description: DLL function call crashed: ISRT.CallDLLFn
When trying to install Melodyne editor. I have tried it on three different computers, and the only computer the install completes succesfully is my laptop, sadly there is not enough processing power in this, to run the program sufficiently.
My laptop, is runnning Windows 7-32 bit. I have tried it on a desktop computer running XP, and a fresh install of Windows 7, and I still get the same error message.
All operating systems are fully updated, I can not see anything different from my computers, from the one where it did install.
The only thing I did notice is, the laptop where it does install, has 4gig of ram, and my other systems only have 2gig. Melodyne does require 4gig of ram minimum.
Would this prevent it from installing in the first place, I find it hard to believe.
I have tried all sorts to rectify this, even removing all security programs, and trhe windows security essentials, including all registry changes, and still no joy.
I know there are no issues with the CD/Set up files. I have even tried installing it in safe mode. I have tried all the various compatability modes too.
I have even tried building a new installation package, still to no avail.
Any help would be most appreciated.
Regards
