New member with a virus? Help

Post by ladyapril on Wed 28 Oct 2009, 11:36 am

I am not pc literate. I don't visit porn sites but I have 3 porn sites popping up simultaneously as well as a red Antivirus System Pro alert, a Windows Security alert from ASP, a Spyware alert that says upgrade to a full version Antivirus System Pro, and numerous boxes that say different applications cannot be executed because they are infected. I downloaded the Malwarebyte file but this virus won't let me open it or any file in my contol panel to add/remove programs. One of these boxes pops up with everything I try to open that you recommend. I have AVG which keeps saying Threat detected or Threat blocked. The Resident Shield alert with the AVG logo says the threat name is Trojan horse Dropper.Generic.BBLF. The threat that was blocked by AVG says File name: osguard-pro.com/purchase?r=50.16 and the threat name is Exploit Rogue scanner (type 820) and says the Accessed file is infected. It is referring to the Antivirus System Pro and every time I click on stay unprotected to the Spyware alert, another porn site immediately pops up. The Antivirus System Pro box that keeps popping up says I am infected with BankerFox.A and Win32/Nuqel.E. I have an 8 y/o and I can't let her see this trash. Please help me.

New Member - Rogue Viurs - HELP!!

Post by eriac512 on Fri 20 Nov 2009, 10:17 am

I have the exact same problem with my PC. I can barely do anything on it. And everytime I get on the internet, it takes me to http://osadwarekill2009.microsoft.com/block.php?r=56.1 or a porn site. I really need help. I have tried everything, and I can't even open a cd on it to install antivirus software. It is almost unusable.

How do I fix it?

My brother told me this was adware. He had me download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware. It took me a few tries because that trash kept popping up saying that file was infected, but after I got it downloaded, it scanned my pc and fȋxed it. My pc works great now. I hope this helps.

Also if you get it fȋxed, you can download AVG for free.

Hi I have the same problem. Only I have the Malware program noted above aleady on my desktop (I am writing from my laptop!) and it won't load -- neither will AVG or spybot, etc. Any ideas?
