How to get the secret hidden administrator account.
How to get the secret hidden administrator account.
In XP:
- Start
- Run
- Type 'cmd' without quotes
- Press 'Enter' on the keyboard or 'OK'
- You should see Command Prompt.
In Vista,
- Start
- Start Menu Search
- Type 'cmd' without quotes
- Press enter
Now, after getting up command prompt, type the following into CMD, correctly as done, including spaces where they are.
Net user administrator /active: yes
You should now log off, and see a account called 'administrator'
The account will not have any password, until you log on and set it.
This is the main account on the computer and should not be deleted in anyway.
DO NOT USE THIS ACCOUNT FOR YOURSELF, AS A EVERYDAY LOGIN.
USE THE ACCOUNT AS A BACKUP, SO IF YOUR ACCOUNT DOES NOT WORK, YOU CAN USE THIS ONE.
THIS ACCOUNT ALLOWS THE PERSON USING IT TO CONTROL ALL ASPECTS OF THE COMPUTER AND GET INTO PLACES YOU COULDNT BEFORE.
THIS LOGIN IS USED BY MICROSOFT AND OTHER COMPANIES TO EDIT THE COMPUTERS BOOT FILES, REGISTRY AND MORE.
THIS ACCOUNT DOES NOT HAVE UAC PROMPS ASWELL, SO NO NEED TO DISABLE UAC.

For Vista, you must run Command Prompt as Administrator (Elevated).
See this article, which is more precise: More: http://computerworld.co.uk/vista/vista_administrator_activate.htm
