Using a Dell XPS420. Running Vista.
I used to be able to put the PC in sleep/hibernate mode, but now when I do, it appears to go into that mode, but the PC never shuts off. Attempting to type keys and click/move the mouse doesn't not help it start back up. Also, when i try to do a soft shut down, everything that normally happens programwise seems to take place, but when my screen goes black.....the PC never shuts OFF. Even now with default power settings, when the computer does its auto-sleep, it gets stuck where the power light never goes off, and i end up having to physically turn the computer off and back on each time. Anyway out of this?
