virtual memory low or unstable system

I get this pop up ,virtual memory low or unstable system, I tried to add more memory NO goooooooood same pop up ,it happens when I want to email a person from a website that has the address there in the site. I even reset the IE I did all setting back to default , I give up, the computer is basically running good except for this pop up, and I have vista basic IE version 8 and its showing I have 1 GB of RAM LET AND 75% FREE SPACE ON MY DRIVES, WHATS THE FIX FOR THIS POP UP? if I copy and past e the email address from the site into my outlook express it goes through with out a problem.

Just to confirm, is the error message: Your system is low on virtual memory?

Not sure if you posted the exact message, if you did not, please reply back with the exact error message.

How much RAM do you have?

Let's try to increase the virtual memory.

1. Go to Start and type in Advanced System settings. Hit Enter.
   
2. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
   
3. Click the Advanced tab, and then, under Virtual memory, let me know how much is stated.

1257MB is the amount of RAM you have or is it the Virtual Memory?
