System Guard 2009

I am really bad with computers so please bare with me, It all started with the spyware guard 2009 now I can not do anything on my computer! I am suprised I even got as far as posting this (if this works) I am hoping it's not too messed up, Thank you in advance for ANY help!

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

• Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  
• If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  
• Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  
• The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  
• When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  
• Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  
• When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  
• The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
  

Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

okay I ran Hijack this and checked the appropriate boxes and Fixed them, but when I go to download the software it stays on 0% and will not download? Thank you so much for your help!!

Lets run a rootkit scan.

1. Please download The Avenger by Swandog46 to your Desktop

3. Now, start The Avenger program by clicking on its icon on your desktop.

• Under "Input script here:", paste in the script from the quote box above.
  
• Leave the ticked box "Scan for rootkit" ticked.
  
• Then tick "Disable any rootkits found"
  
• Now click on the Execute to begin execution of the script.
  
• Answer "Yes" twice when prompted.
  
  The Avenger will automatically do the following:
  
  
• It will Restart your computer.
  
• On reboot, it will briefly open a black command window on your desktop, this is normal.
  
• After the restart, it creates a log file that should open with the results of Avenger’s actions. This log file will be located at C:\avenger.txt
  
• The Avenger will also have backed up all the files, etc., that you asked it to delete, and will have zipped them and moved the zip archives to C:\avenger\backup.zip.
  

4. Please copy/paste the content of c:\avenger.txt into your reply.

okay I am sorry it ook so long to answer, I tried SEVERAL times to open and download both of the links with no success. It started to download at first and then disapeared then it stayed at 0% again. I am sorry I can't figure it out

It's almost getting impossible to upload ANY webpage now, my IE is Completley down. The only way I can check your response is to keep refreshing the page until it finally pops up. I try to bring up the second link choice but it won't even load on the page, the first link brings up the download box sometimes but then it stays at 0%

I am prepared to erase everything if I have to? I have already saved all my pictures and videos to CD's

It is still staying on 0% but it at least pops up everytime and gives me a chance lol! It is not even displaying Transfer rate or estimated time left just saying 0% complete and stays that way

Well if you want to (this is your choice), if it is easier to format than try to find something that will work, then go for it if your stuff is backed up and nothing to lose.

I am more than willing to find something that will work as long as I am not taking up too much of your time. I just know that my computer is NOT willing to download anything. I also would have no idea how to start over from scratch again and know if I need to back up certain things or how to. I even tried restore point and all that brings up is a blank screen?

Do you have any other machines around and a USB stick we can use?

oh and also when I restart my computer I have two windows on there it tells me to choose one to start. It's been like that for a while now so if I format then will I have three windows to choose from?

You won't have 3 windows to choose from if you delete ALL the partitions and then re-partition your OS to just one drive (or two)
