Is there a free program out there that automatically turns off your computer after a certain amount of time of inactivity passes? I keep finding programs where it has a set shutdown time but that is not what I want. I usually fall asleep with my laptop on and I fall asleep at different hours each night.

You have to schedule a certain time to shut down for each of those. I don't always go to bed at the same time so I would like it to shut down after lets say an hour of inactivity.

I haven't tested this, but I'm pretty sure it will work.

Press Start > Run, type in cmd and press enter.
In the command prompt, type in:

at 23:30 shutdown -s

This will shutdown the machine at half past 11.
You can change the time you want to do this to whatever time you want when you leave.
