I have a NAS(network attached storage) device connected via ethernet to my wireless/wired router. I have mapped network drive so it appears in the my computer. Both on a vista business laptop and a xp home desktop. Whenever I restart the computer, login, I get a error "could not reconnect all network drives" I have checked the "reconnect at login check box" and typed the username and password to connect the drive. After the restart, when click the network drive(it has a red x ) it asks me to login again. I am sure all the details are correct. Any help would be greatfull!

If you can see the drive in 'Network drives' within 'Computer' then it is mapped!

Its asking for a password simply to gain access and will continue to do so at every login until you disable 'password protected sharing'.
