Brother MFC-8660DN Will not Print Until Ethernot Cord is Disconected

Hi,

I have a Brother MFC-8660DN hooked up to my server but yesterday it started acting up on me, iwhen i try to print something the print sits quitely and dosnt do anything, as soon as i disconect the ethernet wire from the printer it prints everything!

Is it a networking printer? If it isn't a network printer, you would not be able to print it over a network.

It is a network printer, i have had it working for almost a year and this just started happening a couple days ago.

Have you tried Switching everything off (printers,
computers, hubs, switches, routers
modems, etc.). Disconnect from mains
power, remove batteries from portables and wait a minute or so for
everything to discharge.
Disable all firewalls (NAT and software) then power up again and see if it helps!

How is your network setup and what OS runs on the server?
