I see that you are running Bitlord.
P2P(Peer to peer) applications are designed to help you easily share and distribute files between you and a group of people. But they can also be used to distribute malware, and thus are not considered safe.
The removal of these programs is optional, but highly recommended.
Should you choose to remove them, but you are having trouble doing so, please let me know in your next post here and I will aid you.

  • Click Start >> Control Panel.
  • Under the Programs click Uninstall a Program
  • Highlight the following:

    Bitlord
    Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 6
    Viewpoint Media Player

  • Click on the Uninstall/Change button at the top.

We have more updates to do, but we'll do it soon.

Please download and run this tool.

Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from Here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.

  • Make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
  • If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
  • Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan.
  • The scan may take some time to finish,so please be patient.
  • When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
  • Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
  • When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart. (See Note)
  • The log is automatically saved by MBAM and can be viewed by clicking the Logs tab in MBAM.
Note:
If MBAM encounters a file that is difficult to remove, you will be presented with 1 of 2 prompts.
Click OK to either and let MBAM proceed with the disinfection process.
If asked to restart the computer, please do so immediately.

Post the contents of the MBAM Log.

I decied not to uninstall Bitlord because the sites that I use to download are fairly safe. Unless youre saying that anyone can get in through that. Then maybe id consider it

What I mean is there is no way of knowing that what you download is clean, malware could be packed with anything really.
Where does Symantec report this bloodhound?

  • Please download DDS by sUBs to your Desktop (Important!!) from one of these locations:
    Link 1
    Link 2
    Link 3
  • Double click DDS.scr to run
  • When complete, DDS.txt will open.
  • Click No for Optional Scan.
  • Save the report to your Desktop.
  • Copy and paste DDS.txt back here, I don't need to see attach.txt.

Hello.
Just reading about this exploit now, the report says it attempts to exploit an old version of Adobe Reader, and you are running version 8, so we need to update that.

  • Click Start >> Control Panel.
  • Under the Programs click Uninstall a Program
  • Highlight the following:

    Adobe Acrobat 8.1.3 Standard
Adobe Acrobat and Reader 8.1.2 Security Update 1 (KB403742)

  • Click on the Uninstall/Change button at the top.

Then download and install version 9 from here:
http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/

As a side note:
You are running an old version of 7zip too, please update that.
http://www.7-zip.org/

How is the machine now?

Okay, you may need to contact Adobe via an email address from their site and tell them you need to update because of a malware attack, pretty sure they will understand, they won't lose their good rep.

I'd say it's just temp files trying to abuse the hole in old Adobe, but now that's gone and you have the new version, so it won't be able to actually hit you.

Please make sure this folder in bold does not exist:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 8.0

Also, please update to Vista SP1, it will iron out most of the glitches that normal Vista has.
