I think there are so many programs in my pc that starts during start-up that's why my pc is quite slow in starting up. So i want to know how to disable some of the programs that run during start-up. Can you please help solve this? Smile...

Start >> Run >> type in msconfig >> Startup Tab.

From there, uncheck which ever software you do not require at start up.

i did what you instructed sir, and then after choosing the programs i want to run at start-up, i then chose to restart my pc. When it was up again, a message pop-up telling me to chose normal start up. but then i chose selective start up, then i reboot again, and the same message pop-up again telling me to chose selective start up. what should i do?

In msconfig, General tab >> Select Normal startup.
