Hey there,
I installed this on my laptop this weekend. I am having an issue with graphics. When I am plugged in to power, all is fine. However, when I unplug for the power cord the graphics on the screen it's like the screen turns to like a negative image. You can see some images on the screen but no way to really navigate your way around the screen. Basically, you can't make out to much of what you see. Any suggestions?
Thanks

Probably need a new Driver for Graphic Card

I'm probably wrong here, but just a guess.
My brothers old laptop screen used to go dark when he unplugged his power cable, so:
a) Your graphics card isn't getting the power it needs/wants.
b) Need a better battery.

Try this.

Start >> Control Panel >> Appearance and Themes >> On the left hand pane click >> High Contrast >> Uncheck Use High Contrast

Thanks for your reply Doc. Ok, I am in the CP then
"Appearance and Personalization"
On the left pane all I see is:
Control Panel Home
Change desktop icons
change mouse pointers
Change your account picture

see also
Display
Taskbar and Start Menu
Ease of Access Center

I have gone thru all of those options and I cannot find the High Contrast On/Off button to check/uncheck
I did do a search from the start menu, and it does take me to this screen. I have searched for the high contrast and I don't see it.
Remember, I am running Windows 7
Thanks for your help
BTW, I have installed the current drivers.

Ahh. I thought you are using XP.

In the Start menu type in Turn High Contrast On or Off. Slect one of the Windows themes instead of the ease of access themes.
