i have updated and then ran avg, spybot, adaware, I downloaded and then ran windows malicious software removal tool... none of them even see this stupid rotten nasty thing, but like the others I have pop ups redirects, my firefox runs sssllllooooowwww as all get out and all the rest of the stuff. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this thing in idiot directions if at all possible.

I downloaded it and ran it and here is my log. I hope this has worked and thank you very much for your help. I really do try to be totally proactive against viruses. I auto run avg on startup, i run adaware and spybot once a week. I tend to stay on about 12 sites and seldom surf. It seems like every time I go somewhere besides my normal sites I pick up a virus. I got a very nasty one teo weeks ago (avg killed it) looking for a myspace comment so I don't do that any more. These viruses have really just about stopped my use of the internet for other than email and banking. The last time I had to "nuke" my hard drive it took three days with my old dial up just to reload and get everything back on it and running. It's to bad so many people are impolite and put viruses out there.

Your version of Java is outdated and needs to be updated to take advantage of fixes that have eliminated security vulnerabilities.
Updating Java:

• Download the latest version of Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 11.
  
• Select the first option where it says "Java SE Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 11".
  
• Click the "Download" button to the right.
  
• In the Window that opens, select your platform and language, check the "agree" box, and click Continue.
  
• Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation and save to your desktop.
  
• Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
  
• Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add or Remove Programs and remove all older versions of Java.
  
• Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
  - Examples of older versions in Add or Remove Programs:
  - Java 2 Runtime Environment, SE v1.4.2
  - J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0
