Problem with Internet Explorer Freezing up

When attempting to view videos on-line Explorer will freeze and stop responding. I just tried going to Microsoft Update and it froze after selecting the custom option for the updates. Can you help fix this?

You probably have bad add-on in IE7. You can reset IE7 to disable all it's add-ons, then just enable them one by one until you find the bad one. Delete the bad one when found.

To Reset:
Open Control Panel (Classic View) >> Click Internet Options >> Click Advanced tab >> Click Reset button >> Click OK to confirm.

To Enable/Disable/Delete Manually:
Open IE7 >> Click Tools >> Manage Add-ons >> Enable or Disable Add-ons


If it doesn't work try this, right click an empty area on your desktop >> Properties >> Settings tab >> Advanced button >> Troubleshoot tab.

In the hardware acceleration box move the pointer to the left till it is at "none".
