I'm not a networking person, but lets try this.
Start > Control Panel > Network connections > local area connection > If there's 6to4 or ipv6 in there, uninstall it.

i dont see it here....

i found this on another site which google took me 2.

do you think it's safe?

Microsoft 6to4 Adapter is used for communication in mixed environment including both IPv4 and IPv6. We need to disable IPv6 to resolve this conflict in the Device Manager. Follow these steps in order:

1. Disable IPv6 in Vista:

1. Click Start, type regedit in the Start Search box and then press ENTER.
2. Locate the following registry subkey:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentContr...

To do this click the ' + ' besides HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE first to expand it and then click ' + ' besides System, CurrentControlSet, Services, Tcpip6 and Parameters.

3. Create a backup of registry before editing it:

- Click the File menu, and then click Export.

- In the Save in box, select the location where you want to save the backup copy, and then type a name for the backup file in the File name box.

- Click Save to save the registry.

4. Right-click Parameters , point to New, and then click DWord Value to create the following entry:

DisabledComponents

5. Double-click DisabledComponents, type FF, and then click OK.

6. Exit Registry Editor, and then restart the computer.

This disables IPv6 on all your interfaces and connections, but does not disable the IPv6 loopback interface.

2. Reset WinSock and TCP/IP Stack:

1. Click Start, type cmd in the Start Search box, and then click Command Prompt under Programs.

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.

Note: If you do not have administrator rights and permissions, start the Command Prompt program by right-clicking Command Prompt, clicking Run as administrator, and then typing administrator credentials.

2. At the command prompt, type the following commands one by one, and then press ENTER after each:

netsh winsock reset catalog

netsh int ip reset reset.log

3. Restart the PC.

3. Renew the IP Address:

2. At the command prompt, type the following command and then press ENTER:

ipconfig /all

Note: There is a space between ipconfig and /all in the above command.

Hello.
You can execute this, it's harmless.
Start > Run (right click > run as admin)
Type in:

Yeah, you get disconnected because it basically resets your TCP/IP connection.

Hello $wat. Sorry about the delay, I have been researching ipv6.

  • Now open a new notepad file.
  • Input this into the notepad file:

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_Local_Machine\System\Currentcontrolset\Services\tcpip6\Parameters]
    "DisabledComponents"=dword:000000FF

  • Save this as fix.reg, save it to your desktop.
  • Do not run it yet.

And now,

  • Now open another new notepad file.
  • Input this into the notepad file:

    regedit /e peek1.txt "HKEY_Local_Machine\System\Currentcontrolset\Services\tcpip6\Parameters"
    type peek1.txt >> look.txt
    del peek1.txt
    start notepad look.txt
    regedit /s fix.reg

  • Save this as look.bat, save it to your desktop.
  • Double click look.bat to run it.

Post look.txt back here, then reboot your machine, hopefully this will work.
