How to Configure Windows 7 Explorer to Open any Other Folder When Starting
You may want to configure Windows Explorer so that it starts by opening the OneDrive folder, or your Dropbox, or your Google Drive or any other folder you want.

Here is how to set Windows Explorer, in Windows 7 to start in a folder of your choosing:

1. Open Windows Explorer and locate the folder that you want to use as the starting point for Windows Explorer in the future.

2. Right-click the folder path in the address bar and, in the right-click context menu, click Copy.

3. Type Explorer into Start Menu search box and right-click the "Windows Explorer" select Pin to Taskbar.

4. Press and hold down the Shift key and Right-click the Windows Explorer on the Taskbar.

5. Click Shortcut tab from Windows Explorer Properties window.

6. In the Shortcut tab and the Target: field, paste the folder path that you have copied.

7. Click Apply and OK buttons.

Try the Windows Explorer shortcut that you edited. It now opens the folder that you have set using this tutorial.

NOTE: If you want to revert and have Windows Explorer open your user libraries by default, use the same procedure and, type “%windir%\explorer.exe” in the Target field.
