How to Prevent Windows Update from Restarting the PC Automatically
Sometimes Windows automatically downloads updates and then restarts your computer, even if you don't want it to at that moment.  In Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems you can prevent Windows Update from being able to restart a PC.
