How to Disable all Taskbar Balloon Notifications
If you hate seeing all the popup notification balloons that Windows shows. These range from computer security alerts, to update alerts, and more. Today we will teach you how to disable these notification balloons in Windows 8, 8.1, and 10.
1. Open the Registry Editor by pressing Win + R keys to open a Run box. Type in regedit and click OK button.
2. Navigate to the following key:
3. Right-click in the right-pane and select New --> DWORD (32-bit) Value
4. Name the new DWORD value as EnableBalloonTips
5. Double-click on the EnableBalloonTips value and ensure that the value data is set to “0”.
6. Reboot your computer.
