Increase Performance of Windows OS

By disabling some of the visual appearance settings of Windows Graphic User Interface (GUI), will increase Windows performance and response time of installed applications and Windows OS.
Follow below instructions:
1. Press keys.
2. Type the following command into opened Run dialog box.
3. From opened "System Properties" window click Advanced tab.
4. Click Settings button under Performance section.
5. From Visual Effects tab disable following visual settings by clearing the check marks for them.
With these visual settings disabled Windows will still look nice and perform faster.

- Show shadows under windows
- Show translucent selection rectangle
- Show windows content while dragging
- Slide open combo boxes
- Smooth-scroll list boxes
With these visual settings disabled Windows will still look nice and perform faster.
