Restore Windows Services To Default Startup Settings

Applies to Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10.

A service is an application almost like any other. The difference between services and other programs is that they run in the background and don’t have a user interface you can click or tap on. Sometimes, when some of the Windows services configured with wrong startup setting it can cause issues like not able to connect to network or share files on network etc. The batch script attached to this thread can restore default startup states of all Windows services.

Execute the batch script as a administrator by right clicking the batch script file and select Run as administrator from the context menu.
