Hullo there

Not sure if you guys can help me with this, but my laptop that I bought last year for school often runs pretty slow, especially with the internet (both loading pages and loading the browser itself)and the various apps on here also seem to take a lot longer to load than they should.

Its been like this since I've bought it.  I've tried restoring and completely reinstalled Windows, but that didn't help.

Also, my space bar is somewhat stiff and doesn't like to be pressed down -_-

Are you always connecting to the net from the same modem or do you connect at school? The slowness could be attributed to the ISP. It also wouldn't hurt to increase the RAM if you find it slow doing other things.

I connect both at school and at home (its slow both places), and at home its considerably slower than my other laptop (which is much older, but is a much bigger computer).   I dunno though, every product review I read before I go this computer said that it was pretty fast and could easily run a couple of apps at once (like internet with a few tabs + word docs + music) but I find it slow even just for internet alone OR an app alone.

Please start a new thread in the malware forum and we can run some scans to make sure the computer is clean.
