I have to deal with various data reports from out work system, when the data is exported the date shows as attached.
IT say they cant/wont change how the data is extracted so im left with an issue.
I can change the cells that read 29032007 etc using the text to columns option but the cells that read 3052007 (auto dropped the 0) are causing me problems.
I have changed the format to a custom 00000000 string but when I then run the text to columns option the cells that now start with a 0 do nothing and the cells that previously worked change to a completely different string of numbers that isnt in any date format.
Can anyone help?
