Videos Won't Load

I have been having a lot of trouble having videos load on youtube.

Usually I can't get them to load at all. I get stuck at the black screen with the spinning circle. Sometimes the video will load a little and then it will get stuck.
I am not having this problem with any other videos as it seems to be a youtube only problem.

I have full wireless signal and I am not competing with any other users for using the internet. I have attempted to adjust the video definition to a lower setting. As far as I know my flash player is up to date. I have no other programs running when I attempt to watch the videos.

I simply cannot understand why I am having these issues.

Has it always been like that or did this problem just start? Did you install anything new on your computer?

This problem started within the past three days. I have not installed anything recently.

Try doing a system restore back to before this started and see if that makes any difference.

Some videos will begin to play. Then they will reach a point where they just stop. When I refresh the video they will play up to the same point and stop. The annoying little "Experiencing Interruptions?" box pops up.

Ping is 40 ms
Download Speed is 6.62 mbps
Upload Speed is 0.71 mbps

That seems very slow. Mine are 50.26 mbps download and 31.47 mbps upload. You should contact your ISP.

It appears that is what we are supposed to be getting.

You can try re-setting the modem by disconnecting the power supply for about 30 secs. It appears that the problem is with your ISP. You can also try this scan to check things out.

Okay it looks like I am having issues view youtube again. Videos will not load at all. I just get the black screen with the spinning loading circle. After 30 seconds or so a message pops up saying there was an error try again later.

I have tried everything I can think of. Refreshing the page later, re-connecting to the internet, resetting the modem, checking to make sure I have up to date internet browser and flash player, restoring my computer to an earlier version.

I don't know what else to do to fix the problem.

Please tell me the size of your hard drive and how much free space you have remaining.

It is a 283 GB hard drive and I have 230 GB of free space remaining.

Which browser are you using?

Internet Explorer Primarily

But it seems like the issue also persists in Google Chrome.

This is not my field of expertese but it appears to have something to do with your ISP. Please start Windows Task Manager before you try to watch a video and watch the Task Manager to see if the CPU is peaking while doing that.

Upon initially loading a video the CPU usage spiked to about 45% but quickly dropped to around 10% or so after the ad finished playing.

45% and then dropping off is normal. It there was something running that would use 100% it would cause your videos to stop. I don't know what else to suggest.

I anyone having this issue please install latest version of flash player and graphic card driver.
