If you can't access the internet with your infected computer you will have to download and transfer any programs to the computer you're using now and transfer them to the infected computer with a CD-RW or a USB storage device. I prefer a CD because a storage device can get infected. If you use a storage device hold the shift key down while inserting the USB storage device for about 10 secs. You will also have to transfer the logs you receive back to the good computer using the same method until we can get the computer back on-line.

You can probably configure ESET to allow these pages and downloads. It appears that ESET is being too cautious. Can you set it any lower than Medium?

Thanks, so sorry I was away in Palm Springs as my father was hospitalized (he is 92) anyway, I see your suggestion to set my threat level to a lower setting, Right now Eset is set at, wow I just tried to check at the setting, but the interface must have changed as everything I look at does not show a setting.  I can't remember where I saw the setting for medium and high.  What should I try next?

Great! So stupid of me not to think of that, they have super support and nothing is diverted to other countries all support is right there in San Diego!...I look forward to learning lots via your forums, and have told several friends about your site.
