Hi there

It's still struggling a little bit. There is still a considerable delay when clicking on items in explorer/browser..Boot down is still slow. The issue with the logon/password has not reoccured yet though.

Could this be a problem with your ISP?
Boot down is still slow.

Do you mean when shutting down your computer? How much time are we talking about?

By Browser/Explorer sorry, I mean, when in windows explorer, clicking on a folder or pressing back or which ever command it is slow, includes also the start menu or any right clicks. Basically doing any process.

When I load Firefox/Chrome it is very slow, even with a
all plugins/add-ons disabled, and all history/temp cleared.

Boot up takes around 3-4 mins and boot down around 2-3.

I have disabled all programs and update modules from the start-up, and makes no odds.
I have also checked for issues with the disk, and nothing is un-towards, and the ram is almost new and is a matched pair.

Interesting to note i've not had the log-on issue again as of yet.

Please download and run MS Fix-it from here. Click on "visit our solution center" and click on Windows tab.

StartupLite

Download StartupLite by MalwareBytes to your Desktop.
Doubleclick StartupLite.exe to launch the program.
Ensure the Disable box is checked.
Click Continue.
A pop up message will tell you the unecessary startup items in your list have been disabled and ask you to restart your computer.
Re-start your computer.
