Email hacked... can not connect to EMAIL

Today I received so many emails from my email address to my email address in Outlook.com. I changed my password but now I can not even access my email account. Every time I put in my password, it says it is incorrect. Can you please help me scan my computer in case of virus or malware? Thank you very much...Valerie

I can check your computer but that won't help with your email account. You need to contact someone at MicroSoft to gain access again.

I did get into my email account, but I am still receiving many emails from my email address. Even though I changed my password, they still keep coming. Any idea of what to do?

Thanks! I will try it. The only thing is that I am getting 24 emails at once from someone using my email account every hour and they  send them directly to me. So I have between today and yesterday over 180 emails from the same email. Not sure how to stop this from reoccuring,,, Any suggestions?
That is why I think it is suspicious.

They hacked you account and now have your email address. The only way you could stop it is to change your email address which would be a big hassle. Give MailWasher and try and see what happens. It's not caused by something on your computer.
