Help, have I been duped? Hotmail/twitter

Hi, I'm hoping you can help me. I realise Hotmail/Outlook are having problems (I can't sign in) but in searching twitter I came across someone tweeting if you are having problems try mssl.mail.live.com but I'm not sure that it was a real link. When you open it in a new window the it comes up:


I think i've been stupid and it was a false link. It got me into my hotmail but was it a trick to get my password?

Please help, I feel stupid
