I was wondering if anyone knew of any MacBook Security techniques that I could use. I have both a MacBook and a PC and I want to know how to keep both of them safe.

Thanks in advance.

I'm a member of a Mac User group (www.mlmug.org). There's probably one in your area. You may want to check with them to see what their members are using. Here's the link to search for one: http://www.apple.com/usergroups/

There are a couple of members in my Mac user group that use anti virus. Clam AV and Sophos come to mind.

I don't have any protection on my Mac other than the built-in firewall. The Firefox browser got wacked once. It was an easy fix. I just deleted the Firefox preference file and all was fine.

Of course, the best protection you can use is your mouse. Don't click unless you're sure about what you're clicking on.

Personally, I would use ClamAV which should be sufficient. Smile...
