Wireless shows limited connection (Win 7 starter)

My sons Acer Netbook; suddenly started to show the internet was connected, but states no network access/un-indentified network/limited access all other laptops, netbooks, game stations connect fine.

I have re-started the router & internet; still nothing other than showing connected but Limited Access

Try disabling and re enabling the wireless adapter. You may have to re install the drivers.

what are the steps to perform the disable the wireless adapter

Control Panel
Network and Internet
Network and Sharing Center
Change adapter settings

There you will see all of your adapters. If you right click, you will see options for what to do with that adapter. You can disable and re enable that way.
