Important...help would be apprecated ASAP

My mom's computer is an EEE PC ASUS netpad with Win XP home edition version 2002 intel atom CPU N270 @160GGHz, Two days ago was running on battery power and suddenly it shut down so we thought it was due to battery low in charge. However that night while playing charger was in comp and when she was done and took plug of before shutting down...it shut down itself. later that night when I took it to use, assuming it was charged I went to start it would not but once plugged in it would start. Though plugged in and charging..it stays at 58 or 59%...I don;t understand why and scared..please help

no I have not.

Now the battery power keeps dropping 1% each day though ac adapter charger is plugged in. Today its at 55% yesterday it was 56%

I feel it could be battery but from what I know...if battery then it would charge but drain quickly.

I hope its not a major issue

Problem is...usually charging components are the issue...
did you contact the manufacturer?
