Hello.

I've been trying to burn a 24 song playlist (about 100 mins) onto a starndard 700 MB CD that customarily holds about 18 songs (80 mins). I'd rather not split the playlist onto two CDs and I am unable to find a CD that that can hold more than the usual 80 mins. I've been searching around the internet and found a technique called "overburning" that allows a user to fit more material onto the standard CD using a program called Nero. I tried downloading it onto my system but it doesn't want to work.

I would like some help in either a.) knowing where to acquire a CD that can hold all the music or b.) learning how to fit the material onto the 700 MB CD. I would greatly appreciate any help that I can receive in the matter. Thank you

I don't know about cramming 100 minutes into an 80 minute CD. I would think that if you could do that, you might have problem playing it.

If you can play the CD on a device that is capable of reading mp3 files, you can 'rip' the audio into mp3 and burn them to the CD. mp3 files take up less space than full audio files. They also lose a bit of audio quality but you probably won't notice the loss.
