Vista x64 bit slows down tremendously.

Hey GeekPolice,

So the problem with my pc is that i slow down like crazy when it is night time for my pc. All i have on is a game and chrome and if i tab out of the game it would take a few minutes to load my desktop. Now my desktop is not loaded with icons like a work station or anything. What could possibly be doing this? I've tried MalWareByte several times to make sure its not a virus or anything and the results show nothing. Any suggestions is appreciated, as the problem really irritating.

You could take a look to see what processes are running. You can press ctrl-alt-del to open the Task manager and see what process is taking up CPU time. There is another programs from Microsoft SysInternals you can use too. It's called Process Explorer. It also displays information about your system like Task manager, but it displays a nicer GUI. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653
