It crashes within 2.5min of opening. I am running Mac OSX 10.6.7.
A friend advised me to reboot the computer. I did that and still had the problem. Firefox has been increasingly problematic since some weeks ago when it rebooted and lost a lot of my favorites, which I was able to recover with Xmarks but only partly, as I explained here:

I am not trying to start a thread to draw attention to the other thread. This is a totally new problem.
I normally run FF with most of 30 tabs open. I'm trying to cut back but since I had the problem with the favorites I have been reluctant to add any new favorites, and thus need fewer tabs open all the time, because if I am eventually able to restore my old favorites list from the Xmarks archive, the restoration will delete my current list in whatever state its in.
I looked on Mozilla's support forum page and it was full of complaints about the crashing problem and had not help on it whatsoever.
What should I do?
P.S. I apologize to the Mods for reposting this - I posted it originally using my girlfriend's account, thinking it was in mine. Please forgive. This is the real me. Please don't delete this thread! I beg you!
edit: I just uninstalled and reinstalled it. I'm having the exact same problem as before. What should I do?
