First, hello. I have not been here in a while and will attempt to show up more often. Second, good job to Doctor Inferno, Dragon Master Jay, and everyone else who I know helped me in the past and are still helping others.
Now, I have MORE free aged (not TOO old though) computer parts and another pre-assembled computer (a compaq and will check the model when I get home) and I figured I would try to get that working first and I attempted to turn it on and... nothing. So my first instinct is... the most commonly overlooked issue... PSU. so I go rummaging through my new (old) parts and find a PSU that is 300w (yeah I know it is kinda lame) and go to plug it in but... after plugging it in I realized it doesn't have a P4 connector... but I try to turn it on anyhow and it turns on... fans and everything just not usable (as I knew would happen) so i try the same with the original PSU (no P4) and nothing so I am almost certain it is a PSU issue... just looking for a second opinion... thanks in advance!
I should just need to get a PSU with a P4 connecter and away I go?
