The virus I listed in the title infested my computer last night. I believe Microsoft Essentials quaranteed all my files (all my desktop icons disappeared and files/folders were hidden.) I have since restored them. Microsoft Essentials History revealed that the virus was "allowed". Ten minutes later after restart Essentials said it had removed it. I'm afraid it's still there. It seemingly came through this: file:C:\Users\J\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_Flash_Player.exe
Thanks for any assistance you can provide in helping me rid my computer of it.
I pasted the OTL logs in this message but there were too many characters so I've sent them as separate posts.

Hello.

Download OTL by OldTimer to your Desktop.

  • Close all windows and double click OTL.exe
  • Click Run Scan and let the program run uninterrupted
  • It will produce two logs for you, one will pop up - OTL.txt, the other will be saved on your Desktop - Extras.txt. Post both logs in this thread.
  • You may need to use two posts to get it all.
